Really only in pass pro.  The line did open up that nice hole for Cronk to get that long TD run to put us ahead.

Yes, but the middle LB dropping into zone coverage, REALLLY opened up that hole.

I would change nothing. My biggest concern was defense and they proved they can win the game 4 us. 3 out of our last 4 opponents were held under 20 pts. Im not worried about the offense, they just need to find their rythm. They score with ease when they play 2 their potential. The kicking game will get better once Vivonetto comes back

When will this happen...inquiring minds want to know.

Lack of kicking game is going to hurt us...we have gotten lucky so far without a kicking game.

Agreed.  On both sides of the ball

The team is accustomed to playing with a QB with insane improv skills. I am concerned that BB doesn't have any of that and the team isn't built with a perfect OL. Coaches have to find a way to take pressure off of BB. We need to get the ball in the hands of our play-makers and a traditional offense doesn't seem like the ticket right now. Hopefully in the bye week and UMASS week we can adjust some things to fix this.

I like BB, but, I am not sure that he's a great fit for our team. The rest of the team is having to change to adapt to him and it's not going well. Coaches have to find a balance for the entire offense to be successful.

In fairness, that deep ball to salomon was a play calling thing of beauty.

Offensive line and making calls that get BB time to throw. He can run but he isn't elusive in the pocket .

I don't understand why we don't use Cronkrite more in the passing game. That seemed to be his biggest strength at UF. Utilizing his pass catching ability would definitely help Barnett and keep the D honest.

Video at UF below: music of course is offensive so you may want to mute it.

For me, it's still offensive playcallling. I remember that thread hailing Gilbert as our new savior after the GT game, a game we won due to special teams contributions, not offense.

Last week, and last night, I saw the same Gilbert playcalling from last year. HB dive, HB dive, shot down the sideline. It worked on all of two plays yesterday.

Everyone knew our offensive line was going to be questionable at best. After a few weeks of game film teams know what to do: load the box to stop the run, put two safeties deep to stop the long ball. But for some reason we have no passes that are intermediate.

The pass blocking by the offensive line is total trash too.
