The previous logo looked professional and academic. The new logo looks too cartoonish and childish. I give it 3 out of 10 stars. That being said, I could care less, the main change will take place on the USF website. The academic logo isn't used that often I feel.

Sure, athletics has the :iconic_u_black:, but if they're worried about a unified brand I would expect changes across the board.

Here is some additional information on the new logo for those interested. Also includes horizontal versions and shows what each college (i.e. college of business, health, etc.) will look like.

Judy is not the biggest fan of USF athletics. She tolerates it but is not all in. At the end of the day she did not want our brand to be based on the athletic logo which is far superior than anything an agency could come up with.

Just curious, where does that come from? I have seen her at numerous football, women's basketball, baseball, and softball games. Always engaging and seemingly excited by the game.

This informational material looks better than the initial picture that started the thread.
