Our D is going to tire at some point, but GT will succumb to humidity/heat too, this will be interesting. Their D front is strong

Score a TD and GT is down by 11 and defense had no confidence cause their only stops were an overthrow and a dropped pass. Nothing the GT defense has actually done.

wait-- are you calling that INT an over throw? Seemed like it was a disguised coverage that he simply threw right into. But that guy is out of the game now-- so it sort of adds to the point

It was clear to see they put a spy on Barnett.  He needs to then find the open guy, not run on 3rd and 12.

Just now, TRUTH D. Antagonist said:

why is Barnett tucking & running on 3rd & 12???

Because they are playing straight man and everyone has their back to him, he needs the 2 big boys out in front to actually engage a block. It aint Q, he's not going to make people miss too often.

Not the end of the world, but would have been much better to capitalize on that opportunity and get a bit of space.

"There is no inherent fear among this group of players. The fear of failing drove the program from day one - the fear of failing the coaches, the fan base, the university, each teammate, themselves. Now, as we head into the biggest game in our history at home on a national stage against the highest ranked team to step on OUR field, the players are taking an introspective look at themselves. Unfortunately, I don't know if they get it. They lack the fear."

We've talked about getting back to being the toughest, most violent people out there. Let's be the best version of ourselves and really get back to the culture of how we (USF) used to step across the line and play anybody. Let's hold on to the culture of when they were tough … and they (opponents) knew it was going to be long damn day for themselves.
