Sucks for Q but it was coming. On the bright side, Goff got hurt in my Madden franchise and I picked up Q and swapped him to QB and aside from the occasional wtf throw he's balling....

good to hear he might still have a shot at their practice squad. It is a long season so being there is a big plus when the injury bug hits.

Looks like no rookie made the active roster and those who made the active roster were on the practice squad before.

He's on track to be on the practice squad. That's around $120-130k at minimum for work from Sept-Jan. Wishing him the best!!

besides having a shot of moving on to the active roster and the money involved, the best part of being on the practice squad is continuing to develop as a player with access to the pro facilities and coaching. If he wants to play in the premier league-- the NFL -- this is the best course short of making another squads active roster. I know some have mentioned going to Canada, but being on a practice is better for him if he can swing it.

Keep grinding, Q.... Nothing has ever came easy for this kid so why would this? Now he gets to hone his craft with NFL resources, great situation for him.

Just awesome news. Keeps the dream alive and gives him a chance to develop.  Who knows a few injuries and he could be on the field this year.
