New Soccer Uniforms

Men's soccer's uniforms were revealed earlier today and women's soccer announced their uniforms last week. I had high hopes for the men's kits after seeing how well they came together for the women. I'm not exactly sure what happened but I feel Adidas dropped the ball for the men's team. The women's kits clearly received more thought than the generic look given to the men. I wonder what sparked the difference between the two sets of uniforms.

I will take a new positive approach and say the women’s soccer uniforms are the best I can recall ever seeing and the men’s are the second best I can ever recall seeing. Granted I don’t recall any other soccer uniforms but I do like that they are our colors and use a name and font we actually embrace.

I like them! USF in bokd and up front. Don’t see what the problem is.

This whole “branding” thing now has me thoroughly confused.

It seems that the ONLY uniforms that say South Florida are our gameday football uniforms. Everything else has USF emblazoned across the top in huge letters.

Hence the football jerseys are lame.

If I saw the men's uniforms without first seeing the women's, I don't think I would've given it a second thought. Why would non-revenue sports receive special attention on uniform designs?

To me, the men's jerseys look like standard templates that had the USF logos pasted on while the women's jerseys appear to have base patterns made specifically for them (especially the black and white ones).

The sentiment here and the excitement expressed by the official Twitter accounts doesn't seem to match mine. This is probably just another case of me being way off base.
