  1. Veins did it again 1 to 0 over Washington at the 24th minute
  2. I already said this in another post but IMO it needs its own thread. Its such crap that we have to go to Gainesville to play this game. The Gators don't deserve the home game, they have a worse record 11-8-1 vs 14-4-0, they were an at-large as opposed to a conference champion and their RPI is 23, ours is 24. Top Drawer has us ranked 11th, Florida isn't even on the chart, United Soccer Coaches has us ranked 17th and Florida 27th. Florida does not deserve the home game over USF. Of course there's no P5 bias though. I hope Veins punches them in the personal with 1/2 dozen goals.
  3. Bulls Score!!!!!! 25 mins left Evelyn Veins!!!!! 1-0 Bulls!!!
  4. Bulls go up 1-0 with 14mins left in first half, guess who? None other than Evelyn Viens
  5. In the category of not surprising at all .... USF’s Evelyne Viens was named the co-Offensive Player of the Year, the second year in a row she has earned the honor, while teammate Andrea Hauksdottir repeated as Midfielder of the Year. http://theamerican.org/news/2019/11/5/the-american-announces-2019-womens-soccer-honors.aspx
  6. REGULAR SEASON CHAMPS PLAY TODAY AT NOON FOR AAC TOURNMENT. GO BULLS.
  7. Not sure that many have followed or noticed, but USF is 7-1 in the AAC and 12-2 overall on the season and are ranked #18 and #14 in the two major rankings. They host UCF (6-2, 9-5-1) on Friday night at 7 pm needing just a tie to clinch the regular season conference crown and earn the right to host the AACCG. They have quietly become one of the most consistent programs on campus. A win over UCF pretty much guarantees them a spot in the NCAA field. For the 4th time in the last 5 seasons. GO BULLS!
  8. https://gousfbulls.com/news/2018/8/8/womens-soccer-bulls-blast-stetson-in-exhibition.aspx USF women's soccer defeated Stetson 6-1 in an exhibition contest on Wednesday night at the USF Track and Field Stadium, behind a two-goal effort from All-American Preseason AAC Conf OPOY Evelyn Viens (L'ancienne-Lorette, Canada), and a two-goal effort from Sydny Nasello (Land O' Lakes, Fla.).
  9. VIENS NAMED PRESEASON OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE YEAR FOR SECOND STRAIGHT SEASON Junior Evelyne Viens was named The American Preseason Offensive Player of the Year for the second straight season, the league announced Tuesday.
  10. Men's soccer's uniforms were revealed earlier today and women's soccer announced their uniforms last week. I had high hopes for the men's kits after seeing how well they came together for the women. I'm not exactly sure what happened but I feel Adidas dropped the ball for the men's team. The women's kits clearly received more thought than the generic look given to the men. I wonder what sparked the difference between the two sets of uniforms.
  11. Golden Grace Strikes Again as the Bulls Defeat Alabama, 2-1 August 24, 2017 TUSCALOOSA, Ala. (Aug. 24, 2017) — The University of South Florida women's soccer team defeated Alabama, 2-1, with a golden goal by senior defender Grace Adams (Accra, Ghana) in the 94th minute on Thursday night. GoUSFBulls.com article What's kind of cool is the winning goal was scored by lady from Ghana, with an assist from a Canadian and tying goal scored by player from Iceland. Had no idea the diversity on team. They play #4 UNC at home on Sunday.
  12. The familiar Adobe Spark presentation people enjoyed last year, here again. </p> Direct Link
  13. FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE DATE: Sept. 2, 2016 Bulls Stay Undefeated with Shutout Over Alabama Andrea Hauksdottir netted her second career goal to lead USF to a 1-0 shutout. TAMPA, Fla. (Sept. 2, 2016)— Leave it to the freshman. Notching her second goal of the season, freshman Andrea Hauksdottir led the USF women’s soccer team to a 1-0 victory Friday afternoon. After a scoreless 75 minutes, it seemed that the Bulls (5-0-0) and the Crimson Tide (4-1-0) would be headed toward overtime. However, in the 77th minute, Hauksdottir played an assist from Trudi Carter at the top of the box, turning and shooting the ball into the left side of the net. Hauksdottir was the only offensive player who did not sub out at any point, joining defenders Lotta Fennefoss and Kelli Burney, and goalkeeper Kat Elliott as the only four to play the full 90 minutes. USF would stave off a late aggressive attack from Alabama, as Elliott made four saves to earn the win and the shutout. Quotable “The shot that hit the crossbar-Kat flew. I don’t know if she would have saved it, but it looked like. There’s games where she’s really anticipating and getting there before the ball and today was a great day for her.”-head coach Denise Schilte-Brown Key Stat: · Kat Elliott made four crucial saves to keep Alabama off the board. Notables: · Evelyne Viens and Andrea Hauksdottir led the Bulls with three shots each. · The Bulls have posted three shutouts this season. · Freshmen have scored five of the teams 11 goals this season. · Denise Schilte-Brown needs just six wins to reach 100 at USF. Up Next: The Bulls host Jacksonville on Thursday, Sept. 8, at 5 p.m. as part of a doubleheader with the men’s team.
