I genuinely liked the hire when it was announced, but it does seem like he is in over his head. I’m all big and bad sitting on my couch saying all this, but I really have seen A LOT of questionable decisions this season.

Let’s not forget him taking a line drive off the leg either. Makes no sense at all. Baseball has been my sport since I was 4, and games with decisions like this normally don’t end well.

He hasn't done a bad job overall.  This team had some key losses from last year.  Problem is, I'm not sure that there is much pitching to replace what we are losing next year plus some of those bats.

A lot of this falls on bats not being able to produce runs but I can’t say he’s managed pitching very well. It’s only his first season and we’ve had a lot of big wins but there’s a lot to fix.
