My piss poor arguments are twice as good yours. I’m not even sure what your argument is. One minutes stats exists for a reason, the next minute, If you look at the stats you’re looking at them in a vacuume. It’s a hard to follow.

Why does every thread on this message board eventually turn into a pissing match? It's unbelievable. All I did was post a thread about a great looking USF baseball signee.

Sorry Dave.  I tried to simply reply in kind.  Dude has had a tremendous senior year and I don't care if all 7 of those runs he gave up should have been earned if his dad wasn't keeping the book, he'd still have an ERA under .70 for the year pitching against above average high school talent.  Don't know if that translates to big things at USF, but definitely something to be excited about.

I don't know....a few times over the 19 or so years its been around, I've been dragged into some hot debates and only very rarely has it devolved into a pissing match, but there is that element.  It's been discussed for years.  A lot of it is anonymity blended with the current state of zero sum outcomes.  Some place a high value on winning the argument, not fully understanding opinions vary.
