not sure I like the new rule but apparently on kickoffs if the player signals a fair catch within the 25 yard line the ball will be placed at the 25 instead of the spot of the fair catch

With our special teams let’s hope our opponents use this option.

They should just scrap kickoffs all together if they're going to do this. Just line up at the 25 and go from there. Or let the receiving team decide if they want to do a kickoff or skip it.

Agreed, if they're going to be proactive about this, go ahead & scrap it. But it definitely takes away a game-changing element of the game.

I'm good with this. Would be just as happy starting at the 25 every time - no kickoffs at all.

Kickoffs are unnecessary to the game.
