I can see UCF missing a bowl game with how up and down they get.

I guess Navy could make the playoffs and thus play in 2 "bowl" games,  but I doubt thats what they meant.

It looks like they have the Orlando national champs of florida in oveido playing in the Lockheed Martin bowl vs k state...

Our bowl options are actually a little better this coming season versus last season. The AAC bowl tie ins are better in even numbered years. Last year we had 6 bowl tie ins with only 2 games against Power 5 opponents (not counting the Peach Bowl) whereas next year we have 7 bowl tie in's with potentially 4 games against P5. The St. Pete bowl this year could match the AAC up against an ACC school although it is the #10/1st conditional spot, then it goes to CUSA.
