One week after USF's men secured a verbal commitment from 6-foot-10 Casper (Wyo.) College standout Antun Maricevic, the Bulls are getting a visit from another heralded junior college prospect.

This time, it's a local.

Former Chamberlain High star Rashawn Fredericks, who averaged a double double each of the last two seasons at Motlow State Community College in Tullahoma, Tenn., confirmed he's visiting this weekend. The NCAA's spring signing period for basketball begins Wednesday.

The most disappointing recruiting news in the CBG era so far

Former @ChamboBBALL star Rashawn Fredericks, who visited @USFMBB two weekends ago, says he no longer is considering the Bulls.

USF put all there eggs in this guy's basket only to get the news they weren't expecting by all accounts. Looks like schools such as Arkansas and Baylor came calling out of no where for him and the kid dropped the hometown school off his list completely.

USF really needs to put more of their focus on recruiting non Tampa, or Florida kids imo.  CBG needs to find himself another Chad Dollar type with ties to southeastern states outside of the state of Florida and bring in the talent to help build this program. Dollar was very good for CBG and USF in his short time here. We greatly thank him.
