Of course he doesn't, but I was under the impression this is a board to discuss USF athletics. That includes speculative discussion. No, I prefer fly fishing. You just see value in calling out people who like to kill some down time discussing projections. Makes sense.

I think they could make a good case. Cinci or Houston would likely be a shoe in if either of them can knock off UConn and make the finals. Looks like the AAC is most likely a 2-3 bid league depending on the potential USF/UCF match up in the semis.

Looks like the AAC is most likely a 2-3 bid league depending on the potential USF/UCF match up in the semis. UCF has the same problem as Temple does on the mens side, too far back with too many auto-bids to jump. Sure they win the tourney they are in but just making it to the finals wont be enough. I've got them as first team out WITH NO autobids, so @ 65th. There will be in the neighborhood of 14-15 autobids that end up ranked below UCF. I just dont see then jumping 15 spots by beating USF but its probably more likely than Houston and Cincy in the dance as an at-large. Even with knocking of UConn it will be a tough ask to go in. both are in the mid to high 90s they'd have to move up 50 spots and I'm not sure even knocking off UConn would do that. Now if they were in some alternative scheduling universe where they beat Notre Dame and UConn in back to back or something like that I think that would be enough but not UConn alone. Here are my projections if you care. Mine will be off as its seems the pollsters are liking Louisville over Baylor as a 1 seed and I've got South Dakota as my last at-large team in and there is no way the p5 bias will allow that to happen over the likes of Virginia, Nebraska, Rutgers and Michigan St which are my first 4 out. But I figure I've got a couple of weeks for things to straighten out.

In my opinion we have the resume to be a 4 seed already. If not for that slip up at Wichita St we'd all but be assured that slot. I wonder how much tomorrow's score will determine our seeding? Say we pull the historic upset.. could we be looking at a possible 2 seed?
