A few thoughts heading into the conference championship game tomorrow;

I think we should be no worse than a 5 seed at this point but who knows? In my opinion we have the resume to be a 4 seed already. If not for that slip up at Wichita St we'd all but be assured that slot. I wonder how much tomorrow's score will determine our seeding? Say we pull the historic upset.. could we be looking at a possible 2 seed?

5 seed seems about right.  But 4-7 is possible.  We just need to avoid UConn’s bracket this year, for the love of god.

Historic upset would be an understatement.  Did you see the Cincinnati score from yesterday?!

And that was w/o Gaby Williams. I'm not sure they can be beat but it sure would be sweet if we were the team to do it.

Just need to remind people of the 1985 'Nova v Georgetown game. If you can shoot 80+% for the game you have a shot.

This UCONN team is from another world. You need to have your A+ game and hope they have their C game, or worse, in order to have a chance. Since 2013-2014, they are a combined 183-2. Those 2 losses were by 2 points each, both in OVERTIME (Miss St. - 2017 Championship game, 2014 @ Stanford). That means that they have not lost a game in regulation since the 2012-2013 season. Likewise, they haven't lost a game in Connecticut since the 2012 season. Since the 2007-2008 season (the last 11 seasons) they have lost 1, ONE, game to a team ranked outside of the top 10, and they lost that game by 1 point (St. John's 2012).

With that being said, I really like our chances tonight. Go Bulls!

Espn has us as a 5 seed playing in Mississippi states side. The 4 seed is nc state.

NC State is practically identical to us except they don't have any bad losses. They even have two common opponents, Tulane and Notre Dame. We lost by less to Notre Dame and won by more against Tulane (comparing home games to home games), but home court advantage neutralizes that. Of course you have to win the first round but winning against NC State is definitely realistic.
