Ironclad proof that QF should be calling his own plays or drawing them in the dirt. I look forward to his long career as an OC after he takes over for Eli Manning next year and knocks out 15 years in the NFL.

Anyway, hope Q really lets go and audibles the heck out of the B'ham Bowl.

With his elusiveness, he'll get a look at RB or WR in the NFL, and I suspect he'll be coaching sooner than later.

If the conversion had not worked and he would have switched the play would he be a hero?  My instincts tell me this board would have lit him up as not coachable and unable to follow directions.

Yet some on this board would have understood him wanting to call an audible. I mean, just how many "Run it up the middle" plays can you watch in a row anyway.
