That may become an important factor going into year three.

Haircut is in year 4 then.

Texas gets 50% off his current USF salary (50% of 1M is 500k or 0.5M) so 5M-0.5M (Texas discoount) + 1M (USF Salary) = 5.5M . Either way after this season that is a hefty pay cut. 1 hour ago, Bourbon Bull said: Okay, I did some research and found this. I don't know, in year 4 we play Texas. I think he would like to avenge the only team to ever fire him.

The only schools i was worried about taking Charlie away was UF, UM or Arkansas and all three have new head coaches. I don't see any P5 school worthy of taking CCS away. So hopefully we have a stable coach at least until that year.
Hueyhog20 Posted December 12, 2017 Group: Member Topic Count: 22 Content Count: 715 Reputation: 97 Days Won: 0 Joined: 07/02/2008 Share Posted December 12, 2017 I want to be optimistic about CCS, but the way our special teams and offense regressed this year has left a bad taste in my mouth. The fact that he couldn’t adjust his gameplan to match the talent on this roster is a poor coaching quality IMO. We had most of our team coming back, weak schedule, and he blew it. My hope is next year he has the players to play his system more but we aren’t going to have the talent for sure. Maybe the D is better and becomes the 02 Ravens or something.....
