Yesterday's defensive scheme should not diminsh his body of work.  He's very solid and his accomplishments at USF are part of our history.  He was not an athletic or speed guy.  His game instincts and old school toughness are outstanding.  Good for CCS and his coaching staff for understanding his weaknesses, making adjustments and putting the team in a position to win.

Yes he will and should.  His strengths are far greater than his weaknesses.

Great post. Some wouldn't give this staff any credit.....ever. they benched the captain of the defense.

Auggie is one of the best players we have ever had at USF. The UCF game was not for his strengths so coach took him out but one game will not define the great years he has had with us. We need more leaders like him.

I agree.  And like I said in another post.  He is the defensive captain and lead tackler (all time).  You might think the game was not to his strengths but you dam_n sure give him a chance to prove otherwise.

Those first 21 points were all Auggie's fault yet we managed to allow 14 points in less than 6 minutes of the 4th quarter without him in there.  I don't get some people.
