I'd be okay with McCants in the backfield as an option play, but yeah I'd hate to see that as the norm. We throw to DJ, so he could also serve pretty well as a screen option. He blocks well, too.

Still, I agree for the most part he belongs out there roughing up the DBs, not LBs.

Yeah, I agree.  McCants will not be a RB.

If we were hurting at that position next year, I'd have no problem with that battering ram in the backfield but it appears we're looking solid there so keep him where he'll see the most touches ...

I'd love McCants at Fullback. He would shine in that role blowing up LBs and making holes. Plus you could still send him on routes from that position, so it's not like you're eliminating him as a receiver.
