Well we are who the cynics/realists thought, not what the apologists thought.

This game wasn't on Charlie. Play calling was suspect but mostly it was execution. Everyone knows they are going to take away the run. Some of our best completions just happened to be because we sailed the ball 10' over the intended receivers head and fortunately had someone behind.

Bright days ahead for USF w/ Charlie Strong - but this team just isnt' very good.

I think you have nailed it.  That should be the plan on each pass play, have a receiver run a few yards behind the intended receiver so he can catch the throws.  It's brilliant, really.

The guy who's defense gave up a 2 min drill drive to lose. Complete with a 4th and 24 conversion?

How soon we forget the horrific defense we have last year and how quickly it has turned around.  These guys can coach some defense.

Yeah but this d has played as of recent much worse in the second half so we play good d for just one half.

Last years d also did the same play d good for one half and fall apart another half.

Difference is this years offense is not going to win a shootout.  Reminds me of the Temple game last year.

That tends to happen when you lose two of your top three playmakers on offense.

I fall in the realist bucket.  This team has had many warts this season but got by on talent and last night they were exposed.  The first team we play with equal talent and we lose.  I'm really not concerned with UCF and AAC championship because none of the matters if we don't beat UConn.  I'm truly taking them one game at a time.
