Rushing - down from 6.5 ypc in 2016 to 5.2 ypc in 2017 Passing - down from 8.2 in 2016 to 7.14 in 2017 Interesting stat - Average number of plays in 2016 - 71.38; Average number of plays in 2017 - 84.57 All assuming my math is correct http://www.espn.com/college-football/team/stats/_/id/58/year/2016 GO BULLS! 45 minutes ago, MMW said: I think this is intentional. Last year we seem to snap the ball with a lot more time on the clock. We still line up quickly and in some cases run a hurry up when we have the defense on its heels but play clock management looks deliberate. Running back passes played a huge part of opening up the offense last year and I think it has hurt Flowers this year by not having that extra option. The defenses don't have to worry about it either. I don't care if it's a new coordinator, you use what you have to their best ability.

What about our regressed special team?

Looks very much like we have conscious forethought in clock mgmt. I like it.
