I could walk there in less time than it would take me to drive to Tropicana right now.

I like the location. There are parking garages in Ybor and downtown, and this wouldn't be too much of a walk from the Ybor garages or a street car ride away from downtown. With the Water Street development coming on line in the next few years, this could be huge. I just don't support another sales tax hike.

Supposedly they aren't going to have local taxpayers contribute to the funding...I don't believe that

I didn't realize that the Rays have the only trued domed stadium in MLB now.

If it's built, they need to make the new a retractable roof ... or, at the very least, similar to the Vikings US Bank stadium clear roof.
