I know it should not bother me ("just keep winning" and all of that), but this just feels insulting. UCF at 18... USF not on the list. Please tell me I just didn't see us listed...

The prediction in the link below is not for the final CFP ranking. It is supposed to reflect how they think the committee would vote as of today. No matter how hard I try to rationalize this, it simply does not seem possible that USF is not at least 18-25 given that this poll has Miami at #5 with this as the reason, "The Hurricanes are not winning big, but they are still winning." Not looking for an explanation from the board (I can come up with a few myself)... Just sharing the pain with my fellow Rodney Dangerfields of college football.

We've never won our own conference... ever

Regardless of what conference we have been in, or currently are in... we've never won it

We've had a football team for 20 years, we are 0-20 in regards to conference championships

So I don't necessarily blame them for taking the safe route, pandering to some larger audiences, and not putting us on the list.

Let's win the conference first, then worry about the sports media covering us properly.

We are 0-20 in regards to conference championships. Let's get that first

Also the hypocrisy in ranking Wisconsin who has not faced a top 25 program.  The reason they give is laughable.

Memphis is on the list. USF is 7 - 0. It's not like we played a bunch of high school and FCS teams all year. It's not like we've barely been able to score. It's not like our defense is horrible. I could go on, but preaching to the choir... It just boggles my mind. And makes me even more eager for the team to destroy all future opponents this year! Bulls Are We Baby!! 🤘🐂

Well technically we have only been in a conference for about 15 years but I get your point

Their prediction is as of today.

It does not take into account our game against Houston on Saturday.

If it's any consolation, they predict:

I mean really I get it our schedule just been the best.. but we can even get a courtesy ranking being the team with the longest winning streak in college football?  Wins include both the school to the east and Memphis in that wining streak smh

With the way this team rolled last year and with the hype coming in and Strong I can see how outsiders would not be impressed. We have a pretty easy schedule and we have not had a statement game where we put an inferior opponent away in the first quarter. I don't have a problem with the prediction. Hopefully that will change after the Houston game.
