So, the title of this thread is, "Not Good Enough", but by definition it was been, "good enough" since we've won every game so far.  Obviously, we've had issues, but wins are the bottom line.  I know, I know, if we play like we did Saturday, we'll lose.  The thing is, each game has been different and we've been really good at making adjustments.  Saturday was an anomaly.

Tulane game was unique because Tulane seemed to move the ball at times and kept our defense on the field for 33:22 minutes/seconds.  To me, it seemed like our defense was gassed in the 4th quarter.   3rd down efficiency still seems like a challenge.   It was like we had quick strikes and then went back to sleep.

Agree on almost all, the strategy has been "good enough" so far. But I'm not sure about it being an anomaly yet, we're beating okay teams. I'm hoping they're watching a lot of video this week before practice, I'm sure the other teams are.

Luckily for us that's the same day we get to finally see our entire playbook. 🙄

The thing about the "hiding the playbook" theory is that what makes anybody think they can execute the new plays when they are having problems with the simple ones?

The thing about the "hiding the playbook" theory is that it's ridiculous. There may be some special plays we haven't seen but the plays we need to go undefeated are out there. It's just a matter of play selection and execution ...

Still going with my stance of if we play like we did on Saturday the rest of the year, we're undefeated. Whatever it took to win the game, the team did it. It's great, I guess, to do all this dissecting and Monday morning qbing but that's the bottom line.

I agree.  Each game we've done what we needed to do to win.   The Debbie Downer's expect us to play exactly the way we did last week.  Something we haven't done yet.

This...I will say, however, that those few plays could be really important and produce produce points if used at the right time (5 yard line or closer to scoring). For example there has to be a QB rollout, screen pass, etc. because we have seen it...just not enough and not at the right time.
