Legitimate question

USF lost some wonderful play makers, difference makers. The long ball threat this year, IMO, is not as strong, and it was all world last year to be honest. That could change, lots of football left.

The long ball threat being gone is not because we don't have the guys to do it...

But I don't think this game will be that close. We've played teams with closer defensive states to what they are producing. I don't think they've seen a defense like ours yet.  They legitimately have turned into Chip Kelly Oregon Lite. What beat those teams you ask? Strong defense and the ability to run the football.

The same formula will carry USF to a big win this season.

This is good for the game though. Its like Alabama vs. Auburn. One team high flying scoring up point, and the other likes to ball up it's fist and punch you right in middle of your face on defense and can be high flying when it wants to. Should be interesting.

I still think that is an outlier.  I guess my point is that I believe that what we see normally is CCS offense and that is what the players are practicing day in and day out.  It is who we are.

This and its depressing as hell. You'd think we'd try the edges at least in the red-zone by now.

I was worried about you.  Was hopping that you would not be injured by the dangerous rust filled stadium, glad you made it back ok.  While it is not my place, I would suggest you get a tetanus shot.

Stay safe!

Now that is funny right there.

My son is a certified, Level 4 corrosion expert, he has read the complaint, expert witness kind of expertise. He laughed petty hard at the O Sent, headline. He works on these issues ( diagnosing and repairing) every day,  normal course of business. BTW, The Noles stadium, is built the sane way, they just got State funding to cover it up with bricks.

Be well.

If ucf plays their cards right they might actually make some profit $ out of this deal.

Maybe they can then afford to buy some of those special fsu bricks that foot mentioned.

We shall see, the pessimist in me says we are not YET built to run his offense and he will be looking for players that fit his system, which is what we are watching just about every week.

I don't see any way one can make an argument that either team is anything but equal.

UCF's best win is MD who probably does not make a bowl. Their defense is near the bottom of the nation so I would expect them to put up points.

Both teams are winning in domination fashion.  We also run different types of offenses. If you have not noticed we grind and pound and keep the chain moving.  Could we be putting more points on the board?  Absolutely!  We also absolutely hold take our foot off the gas. Midway through 3rd quarter we were lining up right away, but snapping with 4 or 5 seconds on the play clock.

We are in control of our destiny. No style points needed. Just keep grinding and winning.

Both teams are pretty even. This is what a real rivalry is all about.
