I may be in the minority, but I don't think we'll see a talent dip--experience, yes.

You could be right...of course the results are always relative to quality of the teams we play.

The QB position will undoubtedly be our biggest concern

Hopefully, one our our current guys can do an adequate job in this system.

That's why I suspect we are putting so much emphasis on the run game and improved defense. Doing that should at least give us a chance in most games, until a new QB can establish himself as #1.

looking down the road, I am very happy with how well both of our 2018 QBs commits are doing. I don't know whether either one will be good enough to play as a true freshman, but they should create more competition, and that is always good to have.

Its not about running up the score, its about margin of victory. We are putting up close to the same offensive numbers yet our number one defense is shutting teams down. Last year we had to put up the points because no lead was safe. 

Other than shooting ourselves in the foot early in the first 3 games where either points were scored or we gave the opposition great field position, has there been more than 2 decent drives against our #1 defense?  I don't think so. 

Only thing missing on offense is the quick strike plays. Been a few, but last year was more.

Hopefully, Flowers will go back to being himself as he was against Illinois.  He seemed to be much more tentative against Temple.  Not sure why.

IMO, I think his passing should be two reads, if they're not there, take off.

If we continue winning games at a 41 to 17 clip like our average this will be a great season.
