Crap.

Perhaps, you'll feel better knowing that he only scored 22 points yesterday. LOL

The guy looks like a pure scorer and an outside threat. April is a long way away so I'm hoping he signs.

Collins and Langston could make quite the 1-2 punch at guard for us next season. If Scekic can improve, I think a starting 5 of Collins, Langston, Martin, Yetna, and Scekic might be good enough to have us in the NIT mix....yes, I said it, the Bulls will be in the postseason mix next year.

I would think that if he's healthy, and here, Holston would be slotted in at the 2 ... Plus you've got Brown and the transfers sitting out, with this level experience and a year into the system, that should play into the guard position. Maybe he'll be just that much better than all of them but it's a little different situation than this year when Collins and Brown were thrown into the fire.

Also, am I the only who, when I see a new post for this thread, hold my breath when opening it up ....? Tempted to lock it until signing day ...

I am taking the approach that Langston will be the best pure scorer on the team and will find his way into the starting rotation by conference play. While I hope Holston can come back and be effective, this is his second ACL tear in his left knee. I don't know that he will come back with the jump shot he once had. I hope he can, but that is a big ask. Regardless, we are going to have more depth than we had this year and we have quite a few good, American Conference caliber players who will be competing for us. They say you see the biggest improvement between years 1 and 2 with a new coach and I think we have seen a preview of what is to come the last two weeks. CBG knows how to coach and how to get the most out of his talent.

We need some frontcourt help beyond Sceckic. I know Yetna has some range, but we need more bodies there.
