Unless we planned on playing in Havana I don't understand why a noon Saturday game would be an issue.

Betting won't be moved up to Friday would need to fly out tomorrow morning. Not sure why it took till now to have these talks. Monday or Tuesday they could've much more easily shifted up a day.

Won't be Sunday. It'd be even harder to get back to Tampa.

Looking at the UConn announcement it appears as if only playing Saturday morning or cancelling the game are the only two options.
