Skip "Bumblebee" Holtz, Louisiana Tech (81) ... 71. Scott Frost ( 94 ) 89. Tom Allen, Indiana (NR) Edited August 18, 2017 by FarEastBull

He's not the only one. We totally could have had Teddy Bridgewater if USF had fired Leavitt just a little sooner.

But if it was and he took it, would he have ended up regretting the decision when we didn't get the call to the big leagues ...?

Would the expectations be worth the extra money? Him leaving after 1 or 2 years here would make him less desirable by a G5 school if he did not perform well for a P5 and is fired. I think he will seriously consider putting down roots here, make a decent salary, and not have to deal with the degree of the demands of a "storied" program. These are nice thoughts but in the end he will take the $. I can't recall a college coach who has turned down $ to stay at a G5 school. Even Tags left behind his family and new home. May not totally have been the money.
