Yeah but barring a major upset, they have to beat us twice to advance. :)

AAC baseball #4 ranked conference in terms of RPI.

NCAA:

The Southeastern Conference (SEC) leads the way with eight teams selected. Both the Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC) and Big 12 Conference have seven participants in the field. The Big Ten Conference ties a conference record with five, while the Pac-12 Conference has four in the field. The American Athletic Conference (AAC) has three and the Big East Conference, Big West Conference, Conference USA, Missouri Valley Conference and Southland Conference all have two teams each.

How is Indiana a 2 seed?

Their RPI is #22. So if you assume roughly say all the numbers 1-16 got a host site, 17-32 gets a #2 seed.

:wtf:

Because the Big Ten has 13 teams and the 5 who made it were all in the top 64 RPI, except for Iowa who finished just outside but 4th in the conference. The reason the Big Ten is as bad as they are overall is that everyone who didn't make it is terrible and drags the whole conference ranking down.

Pac-12 is more or less the same. The worst team from their 12 they're sending is UCLA at 52 in the RPI. Another case of a conference being held down by the bottom.

If we had Navy full time and a few other teams to gets us to 12, we'd have likely finished as the 5th or 6th best conference.
