Wed drop 2 and UCF probably gets it. Ugh! Our fate is in our own hands - that's all we can hope for. Sweep and we take the crown. UCONN is home vs ECU. Houston is home vs Cincy. Assuming, USF and HOU go 2-1 this weekend and UCONN sweeps their series, then there would be a three-way tie at 15-9. USF owns the tie breaker over HOU; UCONN owns the tie breaker over USF; and, Houston owns the tie breaker over UCONN. How is a three way tie in that case broken? Thanks, for the info. In that case, USF would get first place, since we would own the tie breaker over 4th place UCF, and the other two teams (plus Tulane) wouldn't. Tulane could sweep Memphis and be tied with UCF at 14-10. In this scenario who gets it assuming there is a three way tie at the top?

Current UCF RPI #27. USF is currently 53 RPI points away from RPI #16. http://warrennolan.com/baseball/2017/team-impact?team=South-Florida They don't yet post the direct impact RPI points awarded for a win in the first UCF game. The UCONN games were worth about 20 RPI points and they were ranked RPI #45 at the time. Since UCF has a much better RPI than UCONN, we should get more RPI points for a win. I guess a win over UCF is worth about 25 points. So, if we could sweep them we likely would move up about 75 RPI points, which might be enough to go to RPI #16, depending on how other teams around us do over the weekend. If that happens, we also would win the AAC regular season title. Under those circumstances, IMO, USF could end up hosting. I just wanted to mention that hosting is still a realistic possibility, with a sweep. Now, of course, the most important thing is to just win Friday's game and take it from there.
