We just need to win all the games next year and win the NY6 bowl before we are even getting looks at a title chance or even a game(s) with a team that could put us in the discussion.

I just hope we win the games on our schedule...something we've never done.  Running scores up would be a bonus but is definitely not a given.  We played quite a few close games last year, people forget that.

How about winning the division?  We haven't even done that yet.

The op has a point.  This should be a top 10 team however we are lacking o line and de talent to be a top 4 team imho so it aint going to matter.  We are really close though a few transfers and we could be there.

We could easily swap out the Stony Brook game for a road game against a quality opponent. It just comes down to how much the athletic department needs the cash from a poorly attended snooze-fest at RJS vs. the overall benefit of a better schedule.

Central Arkansas @ Kansas State - Sept. 2

No way on Earth KState wouldn't drop them for us if we agreed to go on the road. Their OOC schedule next year is as bad as ours. Central Arkansas, Charlotte, and Vanderbilt.

No he doesn't.  His point was the having Stony Brook on our schedule was going to keep us from getting into the playoffs.  Let's:  win all of our OOC games, win our division, win the conference, and go undefeated.  Then we can complain that Stony Brook kept us out of the playoffs.

I don't think it's nearly as easy as you make it out to be.  How do you know that KState would drop an easy home win for a possible loss?  Most P5 schools believe that their conference schedule is tough enough and KState has always had terrible OOC schedules.
