UConn football and men's Bball fans are great, but the ones that live in Florida and show up for the women's game really piss me off. I always end up sitting next to 3 or 4 65 year old women who truly believe their team is God's gift to the world. Last year I had to move my seat when the lady next to me went off about how great Breanna was and we didn't have a chance. When I said well, that's why they play the games, she looked at her buddies and they all just laughed. So I move to another seat and yes, once again end up next to a 65 year old woman who starts trash talking me when it got out of hand so I left. Can't wait to see who my neighbors are tomorrow night. I'm guessing one of them will remind me within the first two minutes of taking my seat that we are their biggest beat down of the year and tonight will be no different. Please come out tomorrow and support this team. We need to have at least 2,000 Bulls fans there so we are not totally lost among the blue ***holes. Go Bulls! I think they bring all of the old UConn fans from every ALF in the Tampa Bay Area and any in the nursing homes that can walk. the are so freaking obnoxious and we are always surrounded by them. I will add, that I don't make it a habit of seeking them out. we have not had any problems except UConn

It is nice to finally post here. I have long-read this board as a UCONN fan. I really felt the need to join after reading this thread. I grew up in Connecticut and my family have been long-time UCONN sports fans (especially the WBB program). My parents relocated to Dunedin about 7 years ago. They are in their mid 60s. Immediately upon buying their retirement home, they purchased season tickets to the USF WBB program and have held those tickets every year since. While they can't wait for the UCONN @ USF game every year, they have also attended countless USF WBB games, rooting for the Bulls. They have too much USF apparel for my liking...but I'll give them a pass. In feeling that we have been screwed over by conference realignment, my parents and I have held a special place for USF and Cincinnati. When UCONN isn't playing UC or USF, we are Bulls or Bearcat fans. We understand the BS that has really put our schools in this current precarious situation. A lot of UCONN WBB fans are of the retirement age and some of them can be a real handful. Please do not let those individuals represent our fanbase as a whole. Without USF, UCONN WBB would be in a world of hurt when it comes to WBB conference strength. Jose's achievements and international recruiting style has been a fresh breath of air. And my parents are obsessed with Laksa and Jespersen...really it's annoying ... Anyways...I just wanted to let you know that your program is much appreciated by many UCONN fans. We had our best game in many years when we played you earlier this season in Storrs. I expect it to be much closer this time around, and I expect a great crowd...including my parents. Good luck tonight and THANK YOU for excelling at WBB.
