Coaches don't move jobs in the 2-3 weeks before signing day usually, then right after signing day there is some movement. Often the head coach knows it is coming. Coach Bell leaving and Coach Adams coming might have been decided a couple weeks ago, but no one moves until after signing day.

This is an upgrade, on paper. We poached Bell from FAU, and Adams from WVU. I'm honestly not sure that UF didn't whiff on Bell, to be honest. Could've aimed higher.

I agree with you as a coach, but Bell is an ace recruiter in south Florida. It's possible his immediate work at USF as recruiting coordinator helped get him the gig. Still think this is a great hire in a similar way.

West Virginia was 98th against the pass last year. Fifth in the Big 12. Not sure this is much of an improvement over last season when we were 115.

You join legendary Bulls coaches such as Autry Denson and Robert Weiner whose contribution(s) to the program can certainly never be measured. Literally. Of all the secondary coaches we ever had, you were one of them.

In the name of the Jim, the iconic U, and the Green and Gold Spirit, Amen.
