I agree completely with obsession with getting into the p5 .... but, to me, it's no different than the obsession for an ocs. Stop freaking worrying about where they play, physically and level wise, and just embrace USF football for USF football. Support it as much as you financially can, go to games, if you can, have a great time tailgating with other Bulls fans then go in and watch your Bulls play.

And raise your kids to dream about growing up to be Bulls!

You are  definitely correct. I do think we are  fortunate to be in the AAC if we are not going to be in the P5 though. This conference can survive and win more consistently than the the other G5 schools. Just got to keep doing what we do as long as we can and hopefully something opens up.

Huh?

We've lost nearly all our bowl games, all to G5 opponents.

AAC is not looking good at them moment.

You would be correct if bowl games were actually relevant.

Not really. All of those you mention were saying how great the AAC was/is while we were beating P5 teams during the season. This is more meaningful as opposed to some game at the end of the year where motivation has been reduced due to coaching changes (Houston), injuries (Navy) and teams disappointed in the overall ending of the season. Further, as long as our two best teams (USF and Temple) win that is all that matters as we will more than likely have have two ranked teams at the end of the year which no other G5 has.

Keep telling yourself that our bowl losses don't matter. :D

If they are so important tell me who won last year from the aac and the score? If they are so important how is it that we lost last year's game but are ranked right now? If they are so important can you tell me the location of all of our bowls?

No one gives a **** that a fifth place aac team lost to a second place sun belt team somewhere in Florida on a wednesday afternoon at 2:00.

However, our two best teams do need to win for perception. I think USF and Temple know that. If they lose, yes, this does impact the quality of the conference.

There were 7 teams at .500 or better (overall record) going into the bowl games. http://www.espn.com/college-football/standings

UCF, Navy, Memphis and Houston have lost.  Tulsa has won.  There were no 5th place (by division) teams playing in the bowl games.  Two were ranked at some point during the season.  None have lost to a M5 school.

No. It doesn't look bad.

And only AAC schools and their fans/alumni will notice or care. The rest of the nation only cares about the semi finals and National Championship.
