"Ironically, one his(Charlie Strong) biggest and most passionate supporters was none other than former Bucs head coach Tony Dungy. The same man who about a week ago called Oregon officials about USF coach Taggart."

Interesting tidbit to think about.  Anyone think Tony Dungy is playing puppet master to this whole thing?

I really think that the "sleep over" part is just figuring out money and what/how USF/UT will work out the money.

Its a done deal in my eyes.

GO BULLS!!!

I'd like to get out of the Dungy mafia.

I can't say anything against Dungy

If he tried to get us into the P5, and maybe he will say good things about us to Strong...

Could Dungy ever be our next Lee Roy Selmon?

Wouldn't it have made more sense to just send Strong to Oregon and leave Willy alone?

Kind of agree...but maybe Dungy sees something we dont see?  Maybe he thought (after Strong got fired) a little recommendation to Oregon was necessary to get taggart on Oregons radar/out of here, and thus to open the doors for Strong to be in tampa.  Srsly.  This is kind of an interesting turn of events and the timing couldnt be more precarious/coincidental.

Im not really a conspiracy theorist-type...but this looks like one if I've ever seen one!

GO BULLS!!!

Can't tell if serious.

If serious.  Dungy and Lee Roy in different realms.  Never suggest this again.

I perceive Dungy as just a talking head. All bark and no bite.

Can't get him using a handicapped parking space outta my head.

Go BULLS !!!

I agree with Brad, Dungy showed his hand by recommending that CWT leave for Oregon.  Even if he does convince Strong to come here, it is just until a better job opens up.

Personally, I beilieve that Selmon would have told CWT to stay and finish the job.  Lee Roy was much more loyal to the program than the coach.
