The main reason the comparison is outrageous is that Lee Roy was a USF employee ... and saying that LRS is 1000 times the man Dungy is is outrageous on its own. You are way too young for this bitter, old man binge you've been on.

Leroy Selmon is at the top of the USF pantheon, CWT, Dungy or Strong can't touch him.

True, that is probably not correct.  I didn't make the comparison, someone else did.   I'll fix it.

I think other grown ups have found themselves in a position where they can't comment due to conflict of interest.  Tony abandoned USF (If in fact he ever really cared), hence having no remaining conflict of interest. That's one reason any comparison to LRS is outrageous.  LRS 1000 times the USF man.

:offtopic:

Now that I have read through, if there is a discussion elsewhere, please link it.

As long as we remain considerate, I don't mind the "off-topic" discussion because it is part of the Dungy dilemma.  We've had these type conversations where we can discuss sensitive issues productively.

I'd prefer we remain on topic, however.  My three "black coach" based threads were self-deleted to support staying on topic. :12_slight_smile:

I made an attempt and started a thread in the Mad Cow.

Sure, make me feel guilty about the bitter, old man crack now...

What the crap...didn't think I would see the day where Trip is on point over Brad :stirpot:;) (all in fun)

This is all quite a roller coaster ride of emotion for many though

We've talked about getting back to being the toughest, most violent people out there. Let's be the best version of ourselves and really get back to the culture of how we (USF) used to step across the line and play anybody. Let's hold on to the culture of when they were tough … and they (opponents) knew it was going to be long damn day for themselves.
