If this is true, it could be viewed as bolstering rumors regarding Strong wanting this to be his final destination. Pure speculation on my part, but if I am USF, I know the current CFB environment and how close we are in making the jump. I would push for going all in on this hire as it might be the best chance we get to fortify our case of deserving to be in a power conference.

So his roster at Texas last year was similar to Tags 2nd year where all of our good players were Freshman and Sophmore?

"Other commitments" = Filipino masseuse on call, his own theme song when entering a room, heated toilet seats to be installed for all games to be played in the north during late Fall, Judy to wear a lapel pin of his face with the words "Charlie So Strong" on every one of her pantsuits, bags of chocolate coins to be handed out to fans as "pirate booty" during every home game to be hurled at the opposing team as they run into the locker room at half-time, he gets to fire a real cannon at Ray Jay after TDs, and many other details some of you can probably hear leaked later on...
