Taggart tripled, maybe even quadrupled, his salary in a short 5 years. Props!

He didn't even double his income, but he made the right decision to move up.

 

That being said, he says he wants to be the first African-American coach to win a national championship. I'd like to see us hire Charlie Strong, start out about 22nd and work our way up to pull off the miracle playoff run. Then we pay Charlie $3M a year and Taggert can sit in his private plane and reminisce his soon to be 3 - 9 season while rebuilding.

Thanks ..... It's certainly a better path to accomplish that where he is now. Wish things hadn't changed so it may have been a little more difficult decision to leave.
