Can't blame him for wanting to move on before his seat were to ever get "hot" again.

Big part of it. Upside had decreased from when he inherited a 2 win team. Got out when the getting was good. Everyone so excited about 10 wins.  Great move by Taggart for Taggart.

This.  Just like all of us CWT has career goals.  If you feel another job offers you a better chance to achieve those goals you move on.....

I wonder if he ever thought of that popular Twitter hashtag #squadgoals?

We know he digged hastags.

Man if the "hot seat" at a G5 hurt his feelings, he better strap on for a wild ride.

Hindsight vision is 20/20 obviously since the move was made we can look back to any point that we wish and pretend that was the beginning of the process but the shift was certainly at odds with what CWT was publicly stating prior to his seat getting hot and deciding to change philosophies.

Isn't Flowers on record as having begged CWT to change his philosophy?

I think Taggart is on record stating how QF helped change the offense by begging CWT to just let them play more open on offense.

But that could have just been more coachspeak. We were so naive back then.   :roflmao:

Not sure if serious, but our offense was garbage Season 1 through the first 4 games of last season.

That response was to Dozer basically saying his recruitment of QF indicated he already had thoughts on changing the offense before MH sat him down and forced him to change the offense.
