Give me an SEC or ACC opponent and tell me where and when... That's all I want for XMAS.

Bulls to Birmingham.

With our attendance we need to be as close to home as possible.  We can't get 25K in our home, let alone 7 hours away.  We need to be in St. Pete, but will end up in Birmingham.  For those who have not been to Birmingham, it ain't glamorous.

Temple to Annapolis.

I'm not so sure attendance really matters - at least not like it used to. I think, with the declining interest in attending college football anyway, that 'travels well' is not so relevant. Perhaps it does for the high-end bowls, but for the plethora of ESPN fill-a-broadcast-slot-bowls...which are basically nothing more than commercial interests...I don't think attendance matters. Hey...push comes to shove, we can always restrict the crowd to one side of the stadium and just shoot from the opposite side. ;)

Pretty sure they did that last time USF went to Bham.

That's exactly what they did.  I think there were about 50 people sitting on the home side of Legion.

Temple is NOT going back to Annapolis.  They are playing there right now.  Temple win => Birmingham .... Temple loss => One of the Florida bowls

Agree, right now USF to  Annapolis or St. Pete.

I don't think any of the Florida bowls are on the table.

Navy is already going to Dallas... for the Cotton Bowl ... or for the Armed Forces Bowl.

"There is no inherent fear among this group of players. The fear of failing drove the program from day one - the fear of failing the coaches, the fan base, the university, each teammate, themselves. Now, as we head into the biggest game in our history at home on a national stage against the highest ranked team to step on OUR field, the players are taking an introspective look at themselves. Unfortunately, I don't know if they get it. They lack the fear."

"For me, I never considered it that way (as a stepping stone), honestly. When I was offered the head job at South Florida, and I'm sincere about this, I never thought I would ever go anywhere."

    Jim Leavitt
