Okay, someone on here predicted a leak today about where we're going... out with it already!

I was hoping that at least something wasn't hinging on that game...

I hope Navy's participation in the Bowl game announcements screws things up royally for the P5 teams.  Would love to see them have to scramble around as late as possible to put things in place.

I hope Temple does not screw us again by taking Birmingham bowl and putting us somewhere else such as St. Pete Bowl

Yeah, I just want to have us against a respectable team. This is potentially our most prolific offense ever (numbers hard to argue), so I want to test it. But of course there's the argument that if we're not in one of the "it matters" bowls, then St Pete may be great just for convenience...

That's odd. I'd think that if anything were holding things up, it would be the AAC championship game. IF I were a gamblin' man - which I am to a degree - I'd go ahead and black-chip  that Navy continues its tradition, started fourteen years ago, of hammering Army. Sure, why not? Let's make it fifteen in a row.

Navy is the best college football story going — and bowl officials are rooting against it

College bowl officials, we’ve been told, are rooting against Navy this weekend. If the Midshipmen beat Temple in Saturday’s American Athletic Conference title game, they’d preserve the possibility of a New Year’s Six bowl berth — pending the result of the Army-Navy game — and thus delay a host of other pressing announcements. For that reason, it would be easier for the sport if the Mids lose on Saturday. Invitations must be mailed.

Sure, these future officers deserve a national sports platform, a blast of recognition for churning out offensive numbers that would make Chip Kelly blush. But who cares about that when there are swag bags in Fort Worth that need labeling and a Potato Bowl to promote?

Bulls to Birmingham.

With our attendance we need to be as close to home as possible.  We can't get 25K in our home, let alone 7 hours away.  We need to be in St. Pete, but will end up in Birmingham.  For those who have not been to Birmingham, it ain't glamorous.

Temple to Annapolis.

You may not get great attendance in St. Pete either. If you live north of Georgia and have a family there's no way you can attend this game. It's the day after Christmas and is it at 11:00 a.m. It is the worst time to have a game period.
