It's a message board... Yes, we still have a bowl game... but did you see the "short" list of seniors on the field yesterday... Adams... Threatt... Amichia... Harris... Godwin... Yes, we might see Mack or someone else try their hand at the NFL, but I am thinking (hoping?) that everyone comes back. If they do... we could see something special... for the first time ever... USF might be favored to win EVERY SINGLE GAME... (AAC games not in particular order) @ San Jose State - They just fired their coach... it's the first game of the year, heading out west. Could be a fun road trip to open the season. vs Stonybrook - The home opener...and the Seawolves are coming off a sub .500 season... and lost their last 4 games. vs UMass - 2-10 this year... 9-27 in three seasons... tough sledding in the FBS for them. vs Illinois - Lovie Smith coming back to Tampa! The Bulls will give him a warm welcome. @ UCF - Could be the toughest road game on the slate. And we know they will want to avenge DJ's TD ... LOL... and we know this will be Thanksgiving weekend again. @ U Conn - 51 drives without a touchdown... Diaco REALLY knows what he's doing - in contracting that is: got an extension with a BIG FREAKING BUYOUT before the year, or he'd be fired already. We won't need any voodoo next year either. @ ECU - Gonna be a long off-season in Greenville... best WR gone... rebuilding project still ongoing. @ Tulane - This will be another fun roadtrip... and the Green & Gold will still handle the Green Wave. vs Cincy - Will Tubbs still be there? Will Gunner Kiel? (HA!) ... the Bearcats will still be rebuilding next season. vs Temple - The good news (other than a home game): no more Thomas and Walker. vs Houston - Finally, a crack at the Cougars... but no Herman... no Greg Ward... this could actually be a good game, tho. vs Tulsa - This hurricane will be more like a tropical storm... losing their QB, top RB, top WRs... and like half their defense The Gulf Coast Offense is going to be strong... none of these teams can stop it for long... So here you have it. My good God almighty way to freaking early prediction: USF 12-0

We WILL be favored in every game next season, right up to the CCG.

Let's hope it happens....more fans jump on the bandwagon and more respect in the polls which will help recruiting.

If we finish 11-2 we should be starting next season ranked. Starting in the top 25 and potentially running the table would likely give us another 2007-type scenario, where the dominoes fall and pave us a way into the single digits. Obviously the SOS would eventually get in the way, but that's going to be the main way we'd have to take to make it into those big time rankings.

I can handle SJSU and UMass, but with 3 cupcakes on the schedule I am afraid that we will find ourselves in a similar situation to this year. Lack of respect due to "quality of opponents" aka G5 hate.
