Navy deferred. I don't understand that decision at all and it lead to the first quarter that ended the game. Still they game back to 7 points after throwing away a couple/few extra points.

If you are USF, you can't stop the run reliably but you score at will. You want the ball to go up and make the other team play catch up.

If you are Navy, you run at will and eat clock, you don't play from behind. You want the ball so you eat clock and score.

I think if they take the ball it's a whole different game. I do not understand what seemed to be an egregious error on the Navy coaches part.

Yeah not a smart move, we gotta get big leads early and then start working the clock better. The more we can keep our offense on the field the better.

It was over when QF started the game like a Heisman candidate.  Awesome job by Q, he looked like an elite QB out there.  If our offense can keep this up, who cares about the D.  

 

...Mack, McCants, and Adams did ok also.. :)

Just glad we hung on for the win. If the game had another quarter I think Navy would have come back and won.

If the game had another quarter then QF and other starters wouldn't have been pulled as early.

Good point. We're now 1-2 against the Pulsers and 6-0 against the Walking Dead

Likely all three of our remaining opponents will have a pulse. Really need to go 3-0

QF took it for 63 yards and showed everyone that the hamstring as not an issue.

Our defense was on fire for 3 quarters. Get our give the ball,  the results would be exactly the same. The defense only looked bad in the 4th quarter.
