I'm watching the gnats & UConn and I really respect the way the gnats play defense.

Nice win for UCF on the road.  It looks like the last game of the year will have real meaning

Even at the end they were playing press man coverage and rushing more than the 4.  I like the aggressive style.

Yeah I get that it's UConn, however, they have an aggressive nature to the way they play.

Moving Shaquem to LB was a stroke of genius. 10 more solo tackles today. They are certainly improving each game IMO

I watched this game too.  UCF has a pretty good defense and their corners play tight coverage unlike ours.  This will be a tough game for us.

Our corners bother me more than anything else. Third and long and we drop off 15 yards and let have an easy completion. Ward was the worst at that last night

The UCF  secondary coach has ramped up the physical play of the corners. Travis Fischer is an alum, played in the league for 8 or 9 years, was the 64th player drafted in his draft year. He was bullet fast, and was a very physical player. 

He has completely changed the style of D back engagement. His style is press, more press, and when yoyu are not pressing, press again.
