Not sure the conference has three or four years. I think Houston is already standing on the corner looking for a pimp.

What other options do you think are in play for Houston? PAC-12? B1G?

Not much left once Herman leaves and Houston returns to mediocrity.

Sigh. I kinda miss the old WAC. And Hawaii being relevant under June Jones.

:conduct:Hawaii and relevant aren't allowed in the same sentence

Nah, they are like the rest of us, they have no where to go.

Realistically they don't have any other options, but realignment is for dreamers.

My good friend said something today "Houston is stuck with us. We are all stuck together. Now we wait for AAC to become a power conference and or the end of the big 12"

Your friend, in my opinion, is correct.

Yup. It's the one bit of good news we can take from today.

An old article, but Aresco seems to think he can break into the Power conferences. This may be the way to go, rather than hoping for an eventual invite. Seems unlikely though, and who knows whether or not we attain Power status because of it. Not real clear what has to happen, if anything, for a G5 conference to become a Power conference.
