Guys its all subterfuge, I saw judy dudebroing it on my flight to texas today (sorry for the late and bad photoshop, I'm sitting at work and had been refreshing this thread like crazy lol)

People were retweeting that as a knock on Chip because he was absolutely sure about the B12 expansion candidates as well.

To be fair (I know we don't like being fair), Chip Brown wasn't really wrong.  They were all in for going to the Pac-12 before the Pac-12 schools got together and decided they did not like the deal that was negotiated.

8/10 was a steep hill to climb.

So OU and UT get their way and the big losers are the B12 conference and the weak members of the B12 who will be scrambling when the flyover conference finally folds.

Would have liked to have their money though for as long as it lasted.

B12 also looks like amateur hour for the public nature of the entire process and coming to a decision to do nothing embarrassing the applicants and the conferences they were from. Academia has a long memory.
