Regarding a NY6 bowl, if we go undefeated and win the AAC championship game and Boise state goes undefeated do we have a chance or is it Boise that gets the spot?  Memphis and Navy ( or Houston in the championship) are the only teams that might propel us high enough in the rankings. CBS finally updated their rankings. USF drops 5! spots to the #30 slot. Ahead of them are 26. LSU, 27. USCal , 28. VT, and 29. Wazzu

The va tech love is what's killing me. They are a two loss team and we have a common opponent.... one team lost to them and the other team beat them by 28.
