I suspect they went with white because it's probably cheaper.

My guess would be because white t shirts are typically cheaper than color shirts. Very rarely do we give away any shirts that are not white. Promotional shirts that are green, like "Our Shirt" or Student Bulls Club, typically require the student to purchase.

Haven't all of the promo shirts this season been white?  They have been giving these out to the first 5000 fans all year correct?

I'm pretty sure they were was a lime green one they gave out that said "work." Our shirts are traditionally teen except that one year....  

And let's not pull a Cincy and do a white out when the away team is wearing white. Love the shirts and the concept though.
