My husband and I sat there the entire game and roasted. We are senior citizens and I want to know where the students were. There were very few students there

Student turnout was very disappointing .... and I'd suggest you try and move seats to under the overhang, It's a blessing for senior citizens.

Let's think of out of box ways to increase attendance.

How about holding classes at the stadium on gameday?

What about partnering with mons for an adult only night (they can supply the entertainment)?

They don't expect USF fans to be sissies about sitting in the heat watching the football plays in full pads. Watching the band sit in the same heat with uniforms

The band members are 18-22 years old, yeah it really sucks, but they are young. I'll go to all the games no matter what, but the heat at 12 can be too much for young and older fans. Shoot I'm 36 and the heat effects me more now then when I was in my 20's. The problem is the media who make these decisions don't live in Florida and don't care. IMO all Florida games should be played after 4pm.

Absolutely disgusting and pathetic. I feel bad for these players and coaches. They deserve better. Best team we've had in 6 years and this how the fans treat them?

Unfortunately you're saying this to the majority of the diehard people that are at all home games. I think usf should do some better incentives to get the regular season ticket members and more students to attend all games...like use all your season tickets for the year, win a chance for an on field experience or something along those lines. They could come up with incentives that are free, but still fun.

Id love to get into Fan Fest 30 minutes early to get to shop without feeling like it's Black Friday. There are little things they could do to make it better.

Our fan base doesn't suck, we just don't have many fans . . .

Sad that in our 20th year and our best season potentially, lowest Homecoming attendance.

Collin actually had a decent article on it.

Most accurate statement:  But USF is a weird student culture, which could be amended to "but USF is a weird athletic fans culture"

Our problem is we have too many season ticket holders who let their tickets go to waste. Try and give your tickets away if you can't go. I also think USF could do a better job with incentives and promotions.

“This is not a broken football program by any means. It just needs to be united, to get everybody on the same page, share that same vision, and really to have that standard - best is the standard.”

We've talked about getting back to being the toughest, most violent people out there. Let's be the best version of ourselves and really get back to the culture of how we (USF) used to step across the line and play anybody. Let's hold on to the culture of when they were tough … and they (opponents) knew it was going to be long damn day for themselves.
