I'll be able to watch the game before work at least x.x

I think the last homecoming this early was 2010 Syracuse. I just remember it was bright and hot as all heck

this thread is a big reason why I hate tour fan base...always complaining about why they can't attend the football games. The fans are the 12th man and make a difference on the product on the field. If Taggart came out and said that they couldn't play well or had to forfeit because it was too hot out, we would be hopping mad! Taggart doesn't allow the players to make any excuses and we shouldn't allow fans to make excuses for not showing up. Put on the big kid panties and show up and be loud!

Disgusting. Administration should work with the conference to schedule games at 3:30 or later before late October. It'll be high 80s for that game.

Administration absolutely ZERO to do with scheduling.

So much for the homecoming events on campus Friday night.  Now that I'll be getting up at 4:45 am on Saturday morning.

Go Bulls!

We'll be in the parade as usual.

I'm not sure I read any bullspenners saying that they were gonna be no shows.  We will all be there because we love our Bulls.   We just don't prefer noon kickoff times.  The heat doesn't bother me...I just hate getting up before dawn on a Saturday.  So let us complain a little.  The people on this forum are not the problem--we are always at the games.   But sadly, we will see a drop in attendance because our overall casual fan base is quite lame.

I don't think that losing to FSU will chase that many fans away....it wasn't like losing to McNeese St.  That loss started a 2 1/2 year period of diminished hope for a good season. This year (and last) we are very capable of winning a championship and because of that the fans will continue to support.  Probably not at the level that whey/we did for the FSU game, but support the team they will do nonetheless.  If we could flush all the stowaways from the club then our crowd would instantly be a lot bigger.
