Lots of opportunities left on the field from the passing game. I was hoping we would see improvement. Kean would have played the entire second half if we didn't miss open guys. If it's not behind the line or a throw it as far as you can and let someone run underneath it, we struggle. This will not bide well against teams we are more aligned with.

It's nice to have so many offensive weapons...

If we can win with Flowers not throwing the ball so much, I'll be happy. I don't know if Flowers can throw any better. Kean is the better passer so far. Just need the experience. If Mack leaves for the NFL. I would love to see Flowers move to the RB position for his future. Like Braxton Miller did for ohio st.

Flowers is a slow starter in general it seems..last year it took awhile for him to get into a rhythm. He should look better vs niu.

Flowers was missing high on most of his throws. Was he too jacked up?

Looks like he thinks too much when he drops back. He never throws in rhythm.

I really have no complaints on offense.  We scored so quickly we never really had to open up too much of the play book. Only a couple of the jet sweeps we saw last year. Only a couple of zone reads. Scantling adds a new dimension. Adams was only targeted twice. One was the int and the 2nd was a nice breakup by their DB.

Clean up a couple of things and this offense will be scary for opposing defenses.

Watching replay our defense looks good, especially run defense vs a good rb.

Nigel Harris was all over the place.

Towson qb is pretty good and wish we had their punter.

Stadium looked pretty good on tv..nice crowd especially when they show home side.

Team has a lot of work, but it was really nice to put one away early.

Because we looked sloppy.  QF's passing set everyone off.  It was not that of a QB that could win a conference.

My son nailed it.  QF has great difficulty with moving targets.  He can hit a stationary target in the numbers.   He can go over the top because he throws it out there with air under it and our athletic receivers can catch up to it.  The crossing routes and seam routes give him all sorts of trouble.

Kean is pretty accurate, but doesn't have the same level of athleticism.

Flowers threw a lot of good balls as well that weren't caught.

No, he didn't.

It's hard to get consistent push when the opposing team is going to run you down the gut 85% of the time against a defense that's designed to stop the spread.  Having said that we held our own against their running attack.  Hope the players don't get cocky since they still need to work on their craft but I think the team will be more electrifying to watch when we play spread teams since our DBs will be looking for more INTs and the Dline can rush the QB.

I'm not as worried about pass coverage we have good talent and it's first real game...Hopefully they can show improvement next week.

Overall pretty good first game I thought.

I'm not as worried about the defense.  Towson has a better offense than some of our upcoming DI opponents.
